近日，第44屆和第45屆東盟峰會在老撾萬象順利舉行。2024年也是“中國—東盟人文交流年”。人文交流是中國東盟關系重要支柱，在加強中國東盟全面戰(zhàn)略伙伴關系方面發(fā)揮重要作用，增進相互理解與互信、促進經(jīng)濟社會發(fā)展。

　　東盟大學聯(lián)盟執(zhí)行主任喬蒂斯·迪拉蒂蒂(Choltis Dhirathiti)在接受中國新聞網(wǎng)專訪時表示，東南亞人民和中國人民生活在同一片區(qū)域，擁有某些共同的文化傳承和價值觀，這些有助于中國和東南亞大學在高等教育方面深化合作。他強調(diào)，中國與東盟地區(qū)不斷深化文化交流，有助于維護區(qū)域和平。(鞏微微)

　　The 44th and 45th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and related summits were held recently in Vientiane, capital of Laos. This year marks the 2024 ASEAN-China year of people-to-people exchanges.

　　Executive Director of the ASEAN University Network Choltis Dhirathiti said in an exclusive interview with China News Network that people of Southeast Asia and China live in the same region and share certain cultural traditions and values, which help to deepen cooperation between universities in China and Southeast Asia.

　　He noted that deepening cultural exchange between China and ASEAN contributes to regional peace. (Gong Weiwei)
